The Aged and Disabled Waiver A.D.W. Program covers those aged, blind, and disabled individuals who are eligible for Medicaid or would be eligible for Medicaid if institutionalized in a nursing facility.

What are the Benefits of the Aged and Disabled Program?

The ADW Program provides recipients with a range of services comparable to those services provided in a nursing facility. Specifically, ADW Program services include:

 

• Assistance with personal hygiene

• Nutritional services which include meal preparation and feeding

• Arrangements for medical and nursing care

• Medication administration and supervision

• Environmental maintenance necessary for recipients to remain in their homes.
